Chaffee County FYI is currently seeking a full-time Family Coordinator to provide comprehensive voluntary services for families screened out of the child welfare system within a state pilot program called Colorado Community Response. The coordinator will offer education and support services to parents, using strength-based practices. Responsibilities include conducting assessments for new client, working cooperatively with other agencies to link families to financial services and community resources that meet the parents' expressed needs. Ability to have flexible schedule needed as occasional evenings and weekends are possible. Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Worker or related field, Master's preferred and experience working in the social service field with direct client interaction. Chaffee County BOCC, Public Health Department is accepting applications for a full-time, temporary, grant funded Health Coverage Guide and Program Manager to offer individuals, families and small employers a new online marketplace for health insurance and exclusive access to new up-front financial assistance, based on income, to reduce costs. The Guide/Manager will provide outreach and education to Chaffee County citizens and organizations about Connect for Health Colorado and will assist with enrollment in the insurance marketplace which will include Medicaid and Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+). Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent with two years college preferred and must be proficient using the internet, MS Office and Excel. Basic knowledge of health insurance and health service delivery with two years experience in customer relations preferred. Grant Manager: Family & Youth Initiatives receives roughly 2/3 of its funding from grants. The Grants Manager is responsible for writing and managing 10 – 15 grants a year including meeting with Program Staff to glean information to complete quarterly, semi-annual and annual/ end-of year reports on grants. The Grant Manager also works directly with the Family & Youth Initiatives Director to develop a budget. The Grant Manager works will ensure budgets are spent evenly and to make budget revisions as necessary and submit them to funders. The grant manager will write an annual report in Oct every year. They will also be doing marketing and PR for the agency. They will be taking a lead on the annual fundraiser in June.
